The Team

A common question that comes up is, ‘Who will you be serving with?’  Which is more than just our sending organization, but also the team we will be joining once we are in Panama.

Here is the team…

We are joining a large and exciting team that is doing great things in Panama! And it is continually growing. It is now over forty full-, and part-time, missionaries from nine different countries.

This team has more than doubled in the last five years since our friend Jon Fowler became director. And also not pictured is the first ever class of the discipleship training school of thirty-one students that started in March of 2024!

More background about the team in Word of Life Panama can be found here… https://give.wol.org/location/panama.

This team has been one of the biggest factors in us wanting to serve in Panama. We are excited to join this movement of incredible people that God is using to bring the Gospel to Panama in mighty ways!

But not only do we get to join this team,

we also get to help support this team!

Here’s how… one of our primary roles will be serving as liaisons for United States churches that partner with and visit for short-term ministry with Word of Life Panama. As we help churches and groups partner with this incredible team and join in the Kingdom work taking place, God creates the relational bridges and partnerships that naturally follow.

We are excited to bring more and more churches in contact with this amazing team of missionaries, and through that, bring full support to enable them to operate at their highest capacity. And also be a part of launching the next generation of missionaries coming out of the discipleship training school!

Had a good friend recently bring up the idea of ‘shouldn’t we be supporting national missionaries more in the global Kingdom work?’ And the answer is YES! But it isn’t ‘either/or’, but ‘both/and’.

And here’s where you come in!

As you join our sending team, you will be a part of supporting this whole team in Panama! We know we can’t do this work alone, and we know they can’t do it alone either. It takes all of God’s people to be a part of God’s Kingdom work.

And that is why we are so grateful and truly humbled to have each and every one of you on our ministry support team. Because we know that you will be a part of this direct work of multiplying an entire team to join in God’s Kingdom work.

So thank you to those who have joined the team! And if you are new to the updates, and want to know how you can be a part of the team too, you can find that here.
